Almost 95 percent of Japanese people know exactly what blood type they have. This is one of the first things that children learn.
About 40 percent of Japanese people have blood type A, 30 percent O, 20 percent B and less than 10 percent have AB blood type.
Each blood group carries with it certain specificities that have a long time ago been explained in books that are still among the best-selling ones in Japan.
Blood type A
The typical person with this blood type is married, has two children, works in an office and is always on time.
This is the most common blood type in Japan and many consider it the ‘most Japanese’ blood type. People with this blood type are not too emotional, but they think deeply and stick to the tasks assigned to them.
Blood type O
The typical person with this blood type is doing everything to show others that they are better than them.
People with this blood type are leaders. They are full of self-confidence, and they can do everything they set their mind to- as long as they can finish the job before it gets boring.
Blood type B
The typical person with this blood type likes to boast and exaggerate things – for the sake of romance.
The so-called ‘b-persons’ are sweet talking, selfish and irresponsible. The best example of a person with this blood type are comedians - they are fun, but no one takes them seriously.
