Jupiter is the largest planet, fifth from the Sun, from which is distanced about 780,000,000 km. Its diameter is 11 times larger than that of Earth. Great Red Spot measuring about 48,000 kilometers is visible. There is little knowledge about it even though scholars have been observing it for three centuries.

Not even robotic spacecrafts were able to explain the secret of red spot. The atmosphere of Jupiter consists of methane, ammonia, and substances which are in gaseous state. It has about twenty satellites. After the Sun, Jupiter is the most massive object of our planetary system. It was named after the Roman god. It brings good luck, health, money, success, relief. Its element is air. It stays one year in one zodiac sign, and therefore it orbits the whole Zodiac in 12 years.

Jupiter is at home in Sagittarius and Pisces, the least effect is on the Virgo and Gemini, it is exalted in Taurus, while it’s negative in Scorpio.
